Located in the heart of Marlow, and set within a Conversation Area, this project involved construction of two storey front extension, first floor extension above the garage, garage conversion and refurbishment of a detached dwelling. The owners wanted to transform the appearance of the existing house and update the property to suit the needs of modern family living.

Sizeable front extensions were designed provide 905sqft additional floor space.
The new open plan hallway and bespoke staircase create an amazing first impression upon entering the house. The beautiful walnut and ash staircase, incorporating metal strings and spindles was designed by our clients together with HAA.

To the rear of the house and overlooking the garden, a large open plan kitchen and dining area provide a beautiful family space.

A modern and fresh look was created to the front elevation by painting the existing brickwork and using ornamental clay fishtail hanging tiles on the First Floor. Interlocking clay roof tiles were used on both the original and new roof, and new glazing throughout has greatly improved the energy efficiency of the property.
