Located in the heart of Marlow this project involved a first-floor rear extension, open front porch, internal alternation and a complete exterior refresh transforming a dated home into a stylish and functional modern space.

The front of the house has been completely revitalized while maintaining its classic charm. The existing render was replaced, and the timber details were repainted, creating a clean and elegant façade. A new timber-framed porch with exposed beams adds character and provides a welcoming entrance.

The most significant transformation took place at the rear, where a first-floor extension was added. This extension, clad in contemporary vertical timber boards, provides additional space to a first floor living area. Large sliding glass doors open up the ground floor to the garden, maximizing natural light and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. A Juliet balcony on the first floor adds a modern touch and allows for elevated views of the landscaped garden.

The outdoor space was completely reimagined to serve as a relaxing and social area. A spacious patio with furniture, a hot tub, and a shaded canopy creates the perfect setting for entertaining.

This project beautifully balances traditional and modern elements, proving that with the right design approach, a home can be both functional and visually stunning.
